2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run
On Thursday, May 11th, 2023, Law Enforcement Officers from around the Upstate and Midlands began a 140-mile relay of the Special Olympics Flame of Hope.
Starting from the Jervey Meadows Field at Clemson University, officers escorted the torch to the steps of the State House in Columbia.
The Flame of Hope will arrived at the State House Friday afternoon announcing the beginning of the 2023 Special Olympics Summer Games.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics aims to increase awareness, raise funds, and support South Carolina’s over 30,000 Special Olympic athletes.
