Pickens Man Sentenced to 14 Years For Drug Charges

On November 2nd 2023, Ronnie Wayne Hendricks pled guilty to Trafficking Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 14 years in prison. Hendricks was originally arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team on November 11th 2021.

During a traffic stop, Hendricks attempted to evade arrest but was apprehended following a short foot pursuit. Hendricks was found to be in possession of more than 200 grams of methamphetamine, over 60 grams of fentanyl, a handgun, and over $3,000 in cash.
