Pickens County Drug Arrest

On 09/14/2023, deputies with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team conducted a traffic stop on Odom Road in Easley.

The vehicle’s driver was identified as Joseph Allen Kingsbury, accompanied by Derrick Lemonye Smith.

K9 Unit, Shadow, was deployed and provided a positive alert on the vehicle.

Upon further investigation, Kingsbury and Smith were found to be in possession of an intent to distribute quantity of methamphetamine.

Joseph Allen Kingsbury and Derrick Lemonye Smith were arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine – 1st Offense.
