Pickens County Drug Arrest

On 12/02/2023, deputies with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division (Echo Team) conducted a traffic stop on Jewel Street in Pickens.

The vehicle was occupied by Joanie Alice Thompson who was found to be in possession of a trafficking weight of methamphetamine.

Joanie Alice Thompson was arrested and charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine – 3rd Offense.
