Thank You For All You Do!

This past Monday night (May 18th), the “Insurance Professionals of the Upstate” held their 17th Annual Public Safety Officer’s Banquet to recognize outstanding service to the community that is indicative of service that has gone above and beyond the call of duty.

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office nominated Dr, Kenneth Foutz for his outstanding service to the community and our office.

“Dr. Foutz has served as an agency Chaplain for the past fifteen years and was a founding member of the program. Previous to 2000, the Chaplain’s unit had become dormant and it was through Ken’s dedication for the Sheriff’s Office and to the communities within Pickens County that the program was reborn and has been an invaluable asset ever since. Ken has attended numerous training classes since he became a Sheriff’s Office Chaplain which has only served to benefit him in his gift to provide counseling and comfort for family, friends and victims during times of crisis and traumatic events. Ken has a unique gift from God to be able to walk onto a death scene and deliver comfort through words of encouragement to a family that has just lost a loved one.”

Congratulations, Dr. Foutz, and THANK YOU for all that you do!
