The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating thefts from unlocked vehicles that occurred from residences in the Liberty area during the nighttime hours on May 22 to May 23, 2017.
Five vehicles that had been left unlocked by the owners were entered by an unidentified person. Personal property to include several financial transaction cards were taken from each vehicle.
Stolen credit/debit cards were later used at local businesses and the Sheriff’s Office is currently attempting to identify a man that was captured on video while attempting to use the stolen cards.
An adult W/M wearing a gray colored t-shirt with the word “Army” printed on the front, light colored pants and a ball cap is seen in the attached images of transactions involving the use of the stolen cards. He was seen driving away in a dark colored sedan which is shown in two of the photos.
