Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Requests Public’s Assistance in Locating Runaway
The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15yr old male named Shawn Tyler Banks.
Banks was last seen by his parents at the family’s residence on Saluda Dam Rd in Easley on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at approximately 6:30am. Shawn T. Banks was last seen wearing a light colored shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes and is described as 6’ tall, 270lbs with brown hair and hazel colored eyes.
He left the residence carrying a backpack and was in possession of a PS2 gaming system.
The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information as to where Shawn Tyler Banks is located to please call the Sheriff’s Office at (864) 898-5500 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CrimeSC.
Foul play is not suspected at this time and the investigation thus far has indicated that Banks left by his own choice. A photo of Mr. Banks has been attached to this release.
